Food is the special sauce in human relationships. It brings family and friends together. And we think every great burger deserves a sauce worth dipping into.
How It Started
Brothers Jesse and Jamie Freeman launched Dip It in 2023 with a simple belief: the best street food isn't just about the protein — it's about what you dip it in. They'd spent years eating burgers across Sydney and kept coming back to the same frustration: too many great burgers, not enough great sauces to go with them.
So they fixed it. Starting with a food trailer on Sydney's Northern Beaches, they built a menu around the dip — 14 signature dips, each designed to pair with their smash burgers, fried chicken and loaded fries in a different way. The concept took off fast.
Today Dip It operates from two locations: the main spot at Nomad Brewing Co in Brookvale, where you can pair your burger with a cold craft beer, and Dip It Express in North Turramurra, a family-friendly outpost serving breakfast through to lunch on weekends.
The food is still the same: smash burgers made with fresh beef, fried chicken with a proper crunch, loaded fries that make a meal, and those 14 dips. Every time, every location. Eating should make you smile and get a little bit messy.
